ΒΆ Options and Storage
In this section of DEAP, the following details of the hot water system are accounted for:
- hot water storage - storage type, volume and insulation level, which are used to calculate the heat loss from storing water at an elevated temperature;
- control of the hot water heating system - time-control and thermostatic control;
- backup water heating - whether supplementary water heating is required in summer;
- system losses - distribution losses and primary circuit losses.
